Our investors met tonight to discuss funding for our next big trade show, South's BEST in Auburn Alabama on December 1st and 2nd.  Issues discussed include:  transportation, lodging, and the itinerary.  Additionally, potential future investors were proposed.   At this point in time, all members of the Tomahawk Tech team will be attending the trade show.  The next meeting is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, November 13th.

We have advanced to South's BEST in Auburn, Alabama! 

In the Northwest Alabama Hub's event which took place in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, Tomahawk Tech's Spacebot demonstrated its versatility and ingenuity in design and functionality.  We were recognized in the following categories:

TVA's Most Robust Robot- 2nd Place    --    Most Elegant Robot- 2nd Place    --    Founde's Award for Creative Design- 2nd Place    --     Best Spirit and Sportsmanship- 2nd Place    --     Sam's Club Top Gun Award- 2nd Place    --    Robotics Competition-2nd Place    --    BEST Award Finalist- 4th Place

We are very pleased and want to wish good luck to Allen-Thornton Career Technical Center of Lauderdale County and all the other teams showcasing their robots in Auburn.

 

October 27, 2012

Today the team members from Allen-Thornton Career Technical Center visited our campus in order to use our spacestation test track to test their robot.  We feel that collaboration helps us achieve our goals as well.

 

 October 25, 2012

Today we have been working on completing our website, finalizing the powerpoint presentation for our trade show booth, organizing our presentation, maintaining our engineering notebook, and brainstorming for our product video.  We are currently working to meet all dealines and trying to maintain everyone's sanity.

The engineering team is currently working on the robotic arm which will enable Spacebot to grasp cargo and bring it up to the space station.

Today our goal is to figure out how we are going to stabilize Spacebot.  The entire staff is brainstorming.  So far it is going very well!  Stay tuned for our next update on BotBlog!
